| Origin of the name MinMin
MinMin is a western Queensland aboriginal word meaning will-o'-the-wisp;
"anything which deludes or misleads by luring on" (Macquarie
Dictionary). We think that's appropriate.
The MinMin lights are famous in aboriginal folk lore. It was a natural choice
to name our lure because of its meaning, Australian aboriginal heritage,
and connotation of small size.
"These bite-sized lures are perfect for bream spinning in
small, snaggy creeks. MinMins come in a wide variety of colours. I like
the pink ones but find more natural colours work well, especially in clear
Jim Harnewell, Editor, "Fishing World Magazine"
MinMin has a realistically contoured baitfish profile and a vibrant action.
Trolling or casting
Good for trolling across shallow sandflats for flathead, skimming weed
beds, or casting in streams for trout.
Fitted with #10 hooks as standard, MinMin can carry #8's for a better
hook up rate on larger mouthed species.
This lure is reliable for collecting your blue water live baits. Troll
around bommies or shallow reef patches and it will get hit.
The lighter your line, the better it performs. We like fine gel spun
line which transmits vibrations better than nylon.
* Mostly in streams or shallower water

- silver perch
